English: Norwegian propaganda poster for recruiting volunteers to the Den norske legions Skiløperbataljon (SS-Freiwilligen-Schikompanie Norwegen, later SS Ski Jäger Battalion "Norwegen" Skijegerbataljonen, active 1943–45), a combat battalion unit within the Norwegian Legion (Freiwilligen-Legion Norwegen)). An early Norwegian poster for the Den Norske Legion prior to its incorporation into the Waffen-SS during World War II. Den Norske Legion (The Norwegian Legion) was a Norwegian collaborationist formation of the Waffen-SS, formed in German-occupied Norway on 29 June 1941, disbanded in 1943.
