DavidBohm, deceased, and the Rabbi of the Congregation BNaiJeshurun became an honorary director of the association. The Rev. Dr. A. S. Isaacs, who was for years, rabbi of thecongregation BNai Jeshurun, and who is deeply interested inthe Hebrew Free School, is an honorary director of theassociation to whose splendid endeavors, the entire school isdeeply indebted. DEDICATION OF SCHOOL. The Miriam Barnert Memorial Hebrew Free School wasdedicated on Tuesday afternoon, September 27, 1904, withimpressive services. The program opened with the ode Nebu-chanezzer, by Verdi. A fervent prayer was then offered bythe Rev. A. S. Isaacs. This was followed by a song, MaTovu, by the children of the school, under the direction ofSuperintendent Hess and the Rev. A. S. Kleinfeld. The address of welcome was delivered by Mr. NathanFleischer. The program was interspersed with music, etoiledu Nord, by Myerbeer, being played by the orchestra, afterwhich Mr. Nathan Barnert, who presented the school to the 108
