REPORT OF BOARD OF STATE HARBOR COMMISSIONERS San Francisco harbor is one of the great ports of the world. First on the Pacific, second among the Americanports in total value of waterborne commerce. For 75 years it has been managed by the State of California; all modernfacilities of this great world port are controlled and operated by the Board of State Harbor Commissioners appointedby the Governor The ambit of San Francisco Harbor is not local—the world is its market place. Golden gateway to the Orient,Hawaiian Islands, Australia, India, Europe, Mexico, Central and South America.
