Summary[edit]

Description
English: Behoite, Aegirine, Natrolite
Dimensions: 17 mm x 11 mm x 5 mm
Locality: Poudrette quarry (De-Mix quarry; Demix quarry; Uni-Mix quarry; Carrière Mont Saint-Hilaire; MSH), Mont Saint-Hilaire, La Vallée-du-Richelieu RCM, Montérégie, Québec, Canada
Description: The reticulated behoite aggregate is ~ 11 mm tip to tip and ~ 7 mm high. Via Gilles H. The stubby white natrolite prisms may be, in part, gonnardite (not analyzed). The small heavily twinned glassy xls appear to be unaltered natrolite. I don't kn ow if these are two distinct generations of natrolite. The black prisms are aegirine. The red blebs (some mixed in with the behoite) are rhodochrosite. The behoite is sort of pale tan, but the rhodochrosite makes it look somewhat pink in this photo.
Deutsch: Behoit, Aegirin, Natrolith
Abmessungen: 17 mm x 11 mm x 5 mm
