There was a post office at Beecher Island from November 13, 1924 until May 31, 1958. Beecher Island was known as Glory, Colorado from November 13, 1924 until February 1, 1925. The name commemorates the Battle of Beecher Island. Penciled notations of the dates of the post office and the price it was once offered at. Details of the address have been erased digitally. |
