Description
Español: Retrato idealizado de Beatriz Galindo "La Latina", en su monumento funerario (cenotafio, o tumba vacía), del año 1531. Este sepulcro fue encargado y terminado en época de vida de Beatriz Galindo, tres o cuatro años antes de su muerte, que ocurrió en 1535. Este ejemplar de sepulcro renacentista fue instalado en el primer Monasterio de la Concepción Jerónima, de Madrid. Tras morir Beatriz Galindo, fue enterrada en la iglesia del monasterio, pero no en este sepulcro, sino en el coro alto. Actualmente este cenotafio se conserva en la iglesia del cuarto Monasterio de la Concepción Jerónima, en El Goloso, Madrid.
