Description
English: Barsha pumps are pumps that do not use fossil energy, are environmentally friendly, placed in rivers to lift water to higher ground. The Barsha pump utilizes water energy itself to lift water from a river or lower surface to a higher surface. The pump will continue to spin all the time while there is river water flow. The strength of the Barsha pump is able to pump up to 80 thousand liters of water every day and can raise water vertically up to 20 meters with a distance of 2 km from the location of the Barsha pump. In Indonesia the first time the Barsha pump was installed on Sumba Island precisely in East Sumba district, NTT.
