Description Last page of autograph manuscript of Bach's Canonical Variations, BWV 769a, the canon per augumentationem. It is in the last page in the collection of manuscripts referred to as P 271, where it is followed by the so-called "deathbed chorale", Vor deinen Thron tret' ich, BWV 668, which is not in Bach's handwriting and of which only that fragment survives.
