Description
English: Has Odisseus been to Crimea? Slopes of Ayu-Dag mountain. The mountain has proven to be 'magical' and produced many legends over time. The eastern slopes of Ayu-Dag lead to an ancient settlement Partenit. Remains of early-medieval settlement were discovered here. In IX-X centuries it was a well-known seaport, bound with cities of Byzantium Empire. Ayu-Dag, Crimea.
