Description
English: Panoramic view of Aylestone Packhorse Bridge, in Leicester, England. The bridge was probably built in the fifteenth century, and is both Grade II* listed and one of ten Scheduled Monuments in Leicester. The bridge crosses the floodplain of the River Soar, and the land in this picture is now part of the Aylestone Meadows nature reserve. Two Canada Geese can be seen in the centre of the picture.
