Automobile road map from Los Angeles to Santa Ana via Norwalk and Fullerton, 1921
Strip map of automobile routes from Los Angeles to Santa Ana via Norwalk and Fullerton including Telegraph Road and Valencia Street. Bounded by Placienta [sic] (top), Hynes (bottom), Los Angeles (left), Santa Ana (right). Due north is about 45 degrees left of vertical. Principal features: municipalities, roads, railroads, road names, mileages, natural features. Other prominent locations: Montebello, Whittier, Rivera, Downey, Clearwater, County Farm, Artesia, Bellflower, Santa Fe Springs, Buena Park, Anaheim, Stanton, Garden Grove, Orange, El Modena, Olive, Newport, Santa Ana River, Southern Pacific Railroad, Pacific Electric Railway. Printed at the bottom is "R.F.E.". Printed at the right, outside the map itself, is "59" and, at left, "when roads are marked red indicates paved portion, blue unpaved portion". Verso contains notice to look for official hotels and garages, lists 4 hotels and 14 garages. At verso bottom is "Map no. 59" and "221".
