English: Portrait of a Young Emperor, presumably Joseph II, Holy Roman Emperor (1741-1790), misidentified with his brother Leopold II, Holy Roman Emperor (1747-1792).
  • Identification proposed by user Ecummenic (talk) based on the comparison with some portraits of Joseph II (see images below), the youth visible in the model (Joseph became emperor at the age of 24, while Leopold at the age of 43), and the lack of physical resemblance of the sitter of this portrait to verified representations of Leopold II.
