Deutsch: Der Maler Ernst Jordan zeichnete von einem Gebäude am (heutigen) Friedrichswall mit Blick in Richtung Marktkirche: Zwischen einem Schornstein (auf der rechten Seite) und der Werkkunstschule auf der linken blickte er über eine Mauer auf ein sakrales Gebäude und den Stadtmauerturm am Neuen Weg über die ehemalige Straße Knappenort auf den Turm der Marktkirche. Etliche Gebäude auf diesem Bild sind noch nicht eindeutig identifiziert (Stand: 01/2013) ... Der an den Seiten angeschnittene Druck wurde für die Maße eines schon vorhandenen Rahmens von dem Bilderrahmer (siehe weitere Fotos von der Rückseite des Rahmens) "angepaßt", dadurch ist der Steindruck (Chromolithografie) nur im Vergleich mit anderen Werken der der Druckerei A. Molling & Comp. zuzuordnen. Das Werk, das offensichtlich Teil einer umfangreicheren Mappe aus dem Kunstverein Hannover war, hatte ursprünglich die (angeschnittenen) Maße circa 58 cm x 45 cm ...
