Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Aronnai (pronunciation: R-Oh-naai) is a very important thing of the Bodo caste and it's culture, which the Bodo people are very proud of and practice as a mark of victory,

In ancient times it was considered a symbol of courage and safety by the Bodo people during the war. Girls of Bodo people make it for their lover or women for their husbands or mothers for their sons or sisters for their brothers with their own hands before the sun rises one night before the war.

And today, just like its icon, the Bodo people use it in their worship, in their festivals, to honor each other, In traditional dance and in other important works.

its has some beautiful Art in the middle woven by Bodo Womens in their handloom by traditional way. it has different types of colour where Green are mostly Used in their Native New Year Festival which js Called Bwisagu(Bwi-sa-gu) Reds Are in Dance and Wedding. while White are in Worship etc etc. Its Wore by them with Gamssha and Dokhona (Do-kho-naa)

But nowadays people of other communities have started using this without any intention and with discrimination. Some people are trying to snatch it from their community by calling it their own.
