English: Gen. Ann E. Dunwoody, commander of U.S. Army Materiel Command and the first female four-star general in Army history (center), presents a coin to Sgt. Kristena Williams, a logistics non-commissioned officer with the 299th Brigade Support Battalion, 2nd “Dagger” Advise and Assist Brigade, 1st Infantry Division, United States Division – Center, and a Fort Riley, Kan., native, as Col. Paul Calvert, commander of the Dagger Brigade and an Athens, Ga., native, looks on, Sept. 15, 2011, at Camp Liberty, Iraq. Dunwoody recognized three soldiers with the 299th BSB for their outstanding efforts during their current deployment in support of Operation New Dawn prior to receiving an operations brief from Dagger Brigade leadership. |
