This is nof the only True God whom we know throughJesus Christ and so knowing have life-eternal. No manknoweth the Father but the Son and he to whom the Sonrevealeth Him. He who denies the incarnation remainsignorant of Gods true character. As Fairbairn says, thelove which the Godhead makes immanent and essential toGod, gives God an altogether new meaning and actuality forreligion; while thought is not forced to conceive Monotheismas the apotheosis of an Almighty will or an impersonal ideal ofthe pure reason. Islam knows no Godhead, and Allah is notlove. There is no god but Allah and Mohammed is his apostle. The Doctrine of Revelation : (Positive.)Mohammed is the apostle of God.(The sole channel of revelation and abrogatesformer revelations.) The Doctrine of God (Negative.) There is no god but God.(Pantheism of Force)
