Summary[edit]

Description
English: Appam is a traditional Kerala food made of rice powder in which a little bit toddy is added. Kappa is boiled tapioca. Vatta is a Kerala backwater fish. In this curry, the head of the Vatta fish is boiled along with spices like coriander, turmeric, ginger & chilly powder. Onion, curry leaves & salt are also added. The photo is taken at a traditional toddy shop in Kuttanad, Alappuzha District of Kerala.
