English: Anticline, Dhoon Beach, Isle of Man A view of the spectacular exposed rock strata on Dhoon Beach.
The Isle of Man consists largely of intensely folded Manx Slates of probable Cambrian age. The image probably shows beds of these rocks dipping moderately steeply seawards i.e. to the east. |
