miscel-laneous accidents. STUDENT DEATHS I deeply regret to report that six students died during theyear. Of tnese three were suicides, one an automobile accident , onetue result of perforation of the appendix, and one Eodgkins disease.Two students also died during the summer before they had an opportunityto return to school. The cause of death in one instance was strepto-coccemia and in the other meningitis. During the year the Medical Staff of the Health Service sufferrdan irreparable loss in the death of Dr. Vergil A. Ross who died suddenlyon August 26, 1935- He had been with the University for fourteen yearsand was beloved alike by the students and his colleagues. In his ser-vice to the University he was never known to do less then his best.
