Description

NAVFAC Pacific Vice Commander Capt. Michelle La Duca presented the Team of the Quarter award to the Defense Policy Review Initiative (DPRI) Guam Execution Team Mar. 28. Team members include (l-r) Meryll Gonzalez (CI), Rickie Barnes (GPMO), Ann Saki-Eli (ACQ) and Carly Antone (EV).

Immediately after finalization of the Endangered Species Act Section 7 Consultation and Biological Opinion, NAVFAC PAC successfully awarded four DPRI projects, totaling $290 million. These contracts were awarded in support of the DPRI and was funded by the U.S. and GOJ as part of the International Agreement between the United States and Japan. The awarding of these contracts mark a critical step in moving forward with the relocation plan that has been 12 years in the making. This accomplishment is due to the great teamwork between NAVFAC GPMO, CI, EV, and ACQ.
