Description
English: In 1823, according to the project of the Zagreb builder Bartolo Felbinger,

the baroque house was given a classicist facade facing Kamenita Street. It is assumed that during this adaptation, the street arcades in the west were closed, and the house was extended to the north (the main room of the shop has a flat ceiling). The house in the diagram has the shape of an elongated rectangle. The main entrance to the apartments is from Habdelićeva Street. The west facade is very simply designed. The classicist north facade is completely different. On the ground floor, four fluted half-columns support an architrave, a frieze with triglyphs and an attic, above which three floor windows open. There are three arched openings between the columns - the entrance and two shop windows (pharmacy). The gable roof is slanted towards the north. On the western facade, there is a memorial plaque to Nicolo Alighieri - Dante's great-grandson, who in 1399 came to Zagreb, lived here and had a pharmacy. The interior of the pharmacy from the beginning of the 20th century has been completely preserved to this day. It was most likely made by Žiga Ključec, who became the owner of the pharmacy in 1907. After him, until 1947, the pharmacy was run by the Rojc family.

NOTE: This image is a panorama of Alighieri House consisting of 3 frames that were merged or stitched in Hugin using a rectilinear projection. As a result, this image necessarily underwent some form of digital manipulation. These manipulations may include blending, blurring, cloning, and colour and perspective adjustments. As a result of these adjustments, the image content may be slightly different from reality at the points where multiple images were combined. This manipulation is often required due to lens, perspective, and parallax distortions.

[https://registar.kulturnadobra.hr/#/details/Z-997 regisar.kulturaldobra
