Description
English: Competition catalogue: Photo of the shop window of Alfred Elsner & Co, bijouterie and leather goods (comparable to a modern-day luxury gift shop that also sells high-quality costume jewellery). Participation in the Berlin shop window competition in 1910, awarded a diploma. Evaluation text in the appendix: "Alfred Elsner & Co. Die Güte der Gegenstände für den vornehmen Tisch kommt durch die Auswahl und die Zusammenstellung vorzüglich zum Ausdruck. Das Pflanzen-Arrangement gibt dem ganzen Fenster Wärme und Leben." (translated: Alfred Elsner & Co. The quality of the objects for the elegant table is excellently expressed by the selection and arrangement. The arrangement of plants gives the whole window warmth and life.
Deutsch: Wettbewerbskatalog: Foto des Schaufensters von Alfred Elsner & Co, Bijouterien und Lederwaren (vergleichbar mit einem heutigen edlen Geschenkeladen, der auch hochwertigen Modeschmuck führt).
