| Description |
English: Afon Tywi near Drum Nantyrhelyg, Powys. Looking towards the Tywi forest at Moel Prysgau. One vehicle is about to ford the river while the others wait on the left. The river is flowing very gently following around two weeks with no rain. It can be a severe (and hazardous) torrent, so common sense MUST be exercised when attempting this route, which is a former drovers' road from Strata Florida to Abergwesyn (joining the Tregaron route about two and a half miles south of here). 1572055
This byway (nominally "open to all traffic") fords the river again a few hundred metres further on. |
