Tom Selleck was aboard Reagan to welcome the ship’s crew to Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, Calif. Homeporting ceremonies for the Navy’s newest and most technologically advanced aircraft carrier will host various dignitaries, including Nancy Reagan, members of the Congress, state officials and various celebrities. Reagan is commanded by Capt. James A. Symonds. While in transit, the ship visited the ports of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Valparaiso, Chile, and Callao, Peru. | |||||||
