Summary[edit]

Description
English: It is a combination of seaside, lagoon, dunes and forest.

The area is a typical lagoon, an inundated coastal terrain formed by separation from the sea by sandy barrier.

is habitat for some endemic flora and fauna. The area is particularly a breeding and overwintering place for migratory birds.
The floodplain is habitat for more than 150 tree species.
Türkçe: Gölde bir kısmı endemik olan bitki ve hayvan türleri yaşar. Özellikle göçmen kuşların üreme ve kışlama alanıdır. Orman alanında dişbudak, kızılağaç, kayın, karaağaç türleri yaygındır. Çocuk felci tedavisinde kullanılan Göl soğanının ticareti Kaynarca köylüleri tarafından yapılmaktadır. Longozda yayın, kızılkanat, sazan balıkları, çevrede tavşan, tilki, yaban domuzu, gelincik, doğan ve sincap yaşar.
