Deutsch: Nach monatelanger bzw. jahrelanger Verzögerung wurde nun kurze Zeit vor der Aufnahme mit dem Abriss des verfallenen Petit Paris begonnen, dessen Dach bereits eingebrochen war. Durch das Studium dieser Fotos sieht man, dass der Bereich hinter der Fassade, vor allem am Dach, bereits deutlich abgerissen wurde. Auch die an der Fassade hängenden Lettern wurden bereits entfernt. Das Straßennamensschild der Landwehrstraße wurde von der Fassade des Petit Paris entfernt. Das Baugerüst um den Gebäude herum erlaubt ein Fortbewegen, ohne auf die strukturelle Integrität des Gebäudes angewiesen zu sein. Das Dach und weitere Elemente des Gebäudes wurden entfernt, Kran und Arbeitsbühne erlauben bidirektionalen Transport über Höhendifferenzen hinweg. Durch Rechtsstreitigkeiten wollte die Stadt das Gebäude bereits vor Jahren abreißen lassen, auch aus Sicherheitsgründen. Ziel sei zunächst ein Abriss zu einem Zustand, wo die Überreste kein Sicherheitsrisiko mehr darstellen. Ziel sei auch eine Installation eines Ringankers. Bis dahin soll abgerissen werden. Das Gebäude bzw. die Überreste davon, werden wahrscheinlich auch noch lange stehen bleiben, auch, um rechtliche Probleme zu umgehen. Im Stadtrat war das Petit Paris öfter Thema, auch bezüglich Gutachten und Machbarkeit des Abrisses.
