Notes Detail of a painting by Étienne de La Hire with a commemorative medal of Prince Władysław Vasa. Medals of the reigning family members were popular gift at family gatherings (wedding day, birthday, coronation anniversary) and used in diplomacy and domestic politics. Necklace with a Prince's portrait was a gift to Petro Konashevych-Sahaidachny as a prize-memorial of the battle of Khotyn in 1621. Before leaving Brussels in 1625, the officials of Infanta Isabella Clara Eugenia received from the Polish legacy gold necklaces with a portrait of his Majesty the Prince.
