| Description |
English: A walk round Martin's Pond (12). On the southern side of the Pond there is a channel of clear deep water between the public path and the wooded island. Note the marshy margin to the island where the trees come right down to the water's edge. There are numerous outcrops of yellow flag, our native species of iris, along the pond margin in this section of the nature reserve.
