| Description |
English: A view north-west of the Ridgeway, Liddington, Swindon. The viewpoint is on the Ridgeway at SU215805. Starting at the bottom we can see the roadworks at Commonhead at SU193824 including the work's temporary depot. Beyond that are the roofs of houses in Liden, Swindon at SU188828. The tower at left of centre is in Cavendish Square, Swindon at SU173838. To the right of Cavendish Square, (but back a bit) is New College, Queens Drive, Swindon at SU168843. Visible to the right of New College are tower blocks in Park North, Swindon at SU171842. Above New College is Swindon Town Football Club at SU159851. 118816 The red seating in the north stand should be distinguishable. Lastly, above left-hand end of STFC the square tower of St Mary's Church, Rodbourne can be seen at SU140867. 309183 The 'as the crow flies' distance from the viewpoint to St Mary's is 9.7 kilometres. |
