English: A variety of pylons, Uskmouth, Newport
Situated at the edge of Newport Wetlands, a National Nature Reserve that was created from former ash lagoons of the coal fired Uskmouth power stations. One of the original coal fired power stations was demolished in 2002 and a gas fired station been constructed on its site. The other coal fired station is being converted to use bio-mass. |
