A Traditional Bengali Lunch consists of bhaat(rice), aloo bhaja(fried potato) begun bhaja(fried eggplant), dal(lentils), chingri machher malaikari(prawn), mutton, chatni, papad, mishti etc. It is prepared with love and served with warmth.

Description
English: Bengal boosts of an excellent cuisine and a traditional Bengali lunch is filled with delicacies from Bengal. The meal starts with rice, fried potato, fried eggplant. Then comes, dal, fish, meat. At the end comes desserts like chatni, rosogolla etc. All the recipies have always been present in Bengali households and are passed down from one generation to the next. The cuisine of Bengal serves as a source of pride for every Bengali.
