Description
English: Apollo 15 Hasselblad image from film magazine 85/LL - SEVA, Pre-EVA-1, EVA-1 & 2.
A labeled version of this photograph is figure 5-61 of the Apollo 15 Preliminary Science Report (NASA SP-289, 1972), which has the following caption:
Standup-EVA photograph, looking approximately south, of location of station 2. Exact position of station 2, near the base of the Apennine Front, is concealed by the local horizon on the most distant visible part of the mare surface.
(Standup-EVA was conducted from the top of the Lunar Module shortly after landing.)
