AKG T222-IR infrared transmitter for the K222-IR heaphones

Summary[edit]

Description
English: AKG T222-IR infrared transmitter for the K222-IR heaphones. Late 1990s, IIRC. The set, in my experience, was an abysmal failure. The head gear was very squeaky, tight and inconvenient. Mediocre sound through straight-wire, even worse via IR. The IR link worked fine in line-of-sight... but no more. Twenty years later, when I rediscovered this (my own) set, headphone plastics disintegrated into a flakey mess. Same unit also marketed under Intersound brand. Sorry folks, what may be expected from a noname "brand" is totally unacceptable for names like AKG.
