Description
English: A wasp found in much of Earth's Northern Hemisphere is the German wasp (Vespula germanica). It is native to Europe, temperate Asia and northern Africa. The three specimen in the picture are fully grown workers (female) with a length (head to abdomen) of about 14 mm. They are landing on a fallen apple.
