Description
English: A44 round the bend A sharp downhill bend near Cwmbrwyno. A lot of work has been done here in recent years to improve the alignment but the natural landscape dictates that this remains a dangerous section of road that can catch out the unwary. The ubiquitous (in this area) Land-Rover and livestock trailer is seen heading down the hill. One fact about the section of the road which puzzles me is the lack of double white lines to prevent overtaking. No one in their right mind would overtake here but then we know that many motorists leave their brain at home when they get behind the wheel. Any road engineers out there who can explain the lack of 'double-whites'?
