Description
English: The Pentaconta telephone exchange was produced and used between 1960 and 1990.

The designer and manufacturer for France was CGCT ː Compagnie Générale de Constructions Téléphoniques; subsidiary of the ITT company established in the United States. It is a cross-bar electromechanical switch version.

This punched card is in IBM 80 column format. It was produced by the central diagnostic system and gave the status of the organs during incidents (operating faults). This innovation has since been installed on all telephone equipment in order to identify the origin of malfunctions and improve the quality of service.

Le concepteur et fabricant pour la France était CGCT ː Compagnie Générale de Constructions Téléphoniques ; filiale de l'entreprise ITT établie aux Etats-Unis. C'est une version de commutateur électromécanique à barres croisées.

Cette carte perforée est au format IBM 80 colonnes. Elle était produite par le système de diagnostic du central et elle donnait un état des organes lors des incidents (fautes de fonctionnement). Cette innovation a été depuis installée sur tous les équipements téléphoniques afin d'identifier l'origine des dysfonctionnement et d'améliorer la qualité de service.
