Description
English: 4 year old civil rights activist Fraz Wahlah holding Peoples Party flag and leading the Movement for Restoration of Democracy against General Zia ul Haq's martial law. This picture was taken in Punjab, Pakistan, shortly before his arrest which made him the youngest political prisoner of the military dictator. His father, a leading civil rights figure and MRD leader, Mr. M.S. Wahlah Advocate can be seen holding a placard right behind him on the left. The BBC, in a publication about MRD, called Fraz Wahlah "the Flag-bearer of MRD."
اردو: چار سالہ بچہ فراز واہلہ پاکستان پیپلزپارٹی کا جھنڈا تھامے، جنرل ضیا الحق کے مارشل لا کے خلاف تحریک بحالی جمہوریت (ایم آر ڈی) کے ایک مظاہرے کی قیادت کرتے ہوئے- یہ تصویر ان کی گرفتاری سے کچھ لمحے قبل لی گئی- ان کی گرفتاری نے انہیں فوجی آمریت کا سب سے کم عمر سیاسی قیدی بنا دیا- اس تصویر میں بائیں جانب ان کے پیچھے ایک پلے مارڈ تھامے ان کے والد اور ایم آر ڈی کے لیڈر ایم ایس واہلہ ایڈووکیٹ صاحب دیکھے جا سکتے ہیں- بی بی سی نے فراز واہلہ کو تحریک بحالی جمہوریت کا علمبردار قرار دیا تھا-
