Description
Deutsch: Flagg setzte die bekannte Figur des „Uncle Sam“ ein und schuf damit das berühmteste und auch heute noch von der US Army verwendete Rekrutierungsplakat. Alleine von April 1917 bis Herbst 1918 wurden über vier Millionen Stück davon gedruckt. Dieses Exemplar stammt wahrscheinlich aus dem Jahre 1975
English: Flagg used the familiar figure of "Uncle Sam" and thus created the most famous and even today still used recruiting poster by the US Army. From April 1917 to autumn of 1918 more than four million pieces of it were printed. This print was probably made in 1975
