Description
Українська: На шевроні 28-ї Української антарктичної експедиції зображені реактивні пінгвіни, які частково асоціюються з літаками F-16, які запитувала Україна для протистояння російському вторгненню в Україну в 2022 році.

Напис «Ні, Mars!» символічний тим, що в Антарктиці вчені досліджують космічну погоду, і нагадує про реактивну артилерійську систему M142 HIMARS, яку отримала Україна для протистояння російському вторгненню.

Також на шевроні є координати станції Академік Вернадський, дві зірки в кольорах українського прапора та Південний хрест – найменше, але найвідоміше сузір'я Південної півкулі, за яким можна визначити напрямок на Південний полюс.
English: The chevron of the 28th Ukrainian Antarctic Expedition features "jet penguins", which are partially associated with the F-16 fighter aircraft requested by Ukraine to counter a Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022.

The inscription "Hi, Mars!" symbolic of scientists researching space weather in the Antarctic, and reminiscent of the M142 HIMARS multiple rocket launcher that Ukraine received to counter the Russian invasion.

Also on the chevron are the coordinates of the Akademik Vernadskyi station, two stars in the colors of the Ukrainian flag and the Southern Cross – the smallest but most famous constellation of the Southern Hemisphere, which can be used to determine the direction to the South Pole.
