Description 26-G-2577: Normandy Invasion, June 1944. German Prisoners aboard Coast-Guard Manned Transport. Nazi prisoners, captured in the furious fighting in Normandy, board a Coast Guard transport at an unidentified Allied port as they sail for the United States and internment until the war is over. Coast Guard Lieutenant Junior Grade R. J. Campbell, Jr., keeps the line moving, June 1944. (5/19/2015).
