Description
English: 25.04.2009 04808 Wurzen, Am Mühlgraben 1: Getreide AG, Wurzener Mühlenwerke, einstige Krietschmühle (GMP: 51.369232,12.728690). 1847 kaufte Johann Friedrich Krietsch die Stadtmühle und produzierte Mehl, Graupen und Hülsenfrüchten. Damals befand sich am Turm der Schriftzug "Krietsch Werke". Ab 1886 firmierte die Mühle als Wurzener Kunstmühlenwerke und Bisquitfabrik und ab 1953 als VEB Nahrungsmittelkombinat Albert Kuntz. 1990 wurde der Treuhandbetrieb zur Wurzener Nahrungsmittel und Keksfabriken GmbH. Die heute sichtbaren Gebäude, zum Wahrzeichen der Stadt geworden, wurden 1917-1925 erbaut. [DSCN36855.TIF]20090425735DR.JPG(c)Blobelt
