Description
Deutsch: 16.11.2008 01768 Hausdorf (Glashütte): Gaststätte "Teufelsmühle", Teufelsmühle 1 (GMP: 50.915975,13.770329). Die vom Lockwitzbach angetriebene Teufelsmühle fand ihre erste Erwähnung als "Mühle im Grunde" im Jahre 1456. Zu dieser Zeit gehörte sie dem Rittergut Kreischa an. Im 17. Jahrhundert wird sie dem Hausdorfer Rittergut unterstellt. Im Mittelalter ist die Teufelsmühle unter dem Namen "Merkens Mühle" bekannt. Ihren heutigen Namen verdankt sie wahrscheinlich einem ehemaligen Pächter aus Lungkwitz mit dem Namen Teuffel. Zur Getreidemühle gehörte ein unterschlächtiges Wasserrad, das anfangs erst einen Mahlgang und später zwei antrieb. Um 1900 wird in der Wassermühle zusätzlich ein Sägegatter - Brettmühle - aufgestellt. Die Mühle soll bis 1932 in dieser Ausstattung in Betrieb gewesen sein. Nach der Stilllegung verfiel das alte Mühlgebäude jedoch mit der gesamten Einrichtung. Um 1972 wurde das Mühlrad ausgebaut und die Mühleinrichtung samt Mühlgebäude abgerissen. Bereits seit dem Mittealter bestand hier Schankrecht. Dies wird bis zum heutigen Tag fortgesetzt. Nach Umbau und Renovierung wurde 1988 die Gaststube neu eröffnet.
