Description
Deutsch: 21.01.2007 01067 Dresden: Rechts das Maritim Hotel, Ostra-Ufer 2 / Devrientstraße (GMP: 51.05739,13.731890), ein altes Speichergebäude, nach Plänen von Stadtbaurat Hans Jakob Erlwein 1913/14 erbaut. Der "Erlwein-Speicher" ist 76 m lang und 40 m hoch und prägt die Stadtsilhouette mit. Erster deutscher Stahlbetonbau dieser Art. Er bot 20.000 m² Lagerraum, wurde aber selten voll genutzt. Von 2004 bis 2006 erfolgt der Umbau zum Maritim-Kongress-Hotel. Einweihung war am 15.05.2006. Die Baukosten rund 65 Mio. EUR. Das Hotel hat 328 Zimmer. Links daneben das Internationale Kongresszentrum Dresden (ICCD), Devrientstraße 12 (GMP: 51.058613,13.731557), erbaut 2001-2004 nach Plänen des Architekturbüros Storch, Ehlers und Partner. Offizielle Eröffnung war am 26.05.2004. Ausstattung: Kongreßsaal für über 1324 Personen erweiterbar auf 4147 Plätze; 5 kleine Kongreßsäle mit je 337 bis 614 Plätzen; 6 Konferenzräume (7 Seminarräume mit bis zu 118 Plätzen; 1 Restaurant für 650 Personen.
