2005 T496 Roman figurine of Mars
Description
English: A small Roman decorative mount in the form of a silver bust depicting the god Mars. The god is cuirassed, with a crested helmet, curly hair and full beard. The crest is broken and the nose damaged. Fastening of the mount was almost certainly by means of solder on the angled back.
