Partie médiévale occultée par un décor du XVIIème siècle. La nouvelle façade s'étend sur 33,5 mètres, au centre du côté d'un carré de 100 mètres de côté. Le jardin à la française, ainsi dessiné, est fermé sur le côté opposé au château, par un miroir d'eau, une rivière et un parc boisé (jardin municipal de Sainte-Luce-sur Loire).
La façade créée au XVIIème siècle sur l'aile nord du manoir médiéval respecte les canons esthétiques de l'époque: symétrie et décor classique caractérisé par de simples frontons couronnant les lucarnes. Balcon délicatement orné.
Lors de la conception de la façade "XVIIème", une terrasse avait, sans doute été prévue. Elle dut attendre 1998 pour être réalisée sous forme d'un glacis engazonné.
