Deutsch: 12.06.2004 01099 Dresden-Neustadt: Martin-Luther-Platz 10 (GMP: 51.063852,13.756996). Das Mietshaus wurde um 1898 für den Kaufmann Johannes Boden erbaut. Die Durchfahrt zum Hof, zugleich Zugang zum Treppenhaus, ist prächtig ausgestaltet. Die Wandbilder schuf der Dekorationsmaler F. Hauptstein. Hier im Bild sitzt an einem Brunnen die schöne Bathseba, hier mit entblößten Brüsten dargestellt. Eine ihrer Dienerinnen holt Wasser. Aus dem Hintergrund rechts beobachtet König David das Geschehen heimlich. Er verliebt sich in die verheiratete Bathseba. Um ihren Mann Uria aus dem Weg zu räumen, schickt er ihn in den Krieg, aus dem er nicht wiederkommt. So berichtet es das 2. Buch Samuel des Alten Testaments.
