Description
Deutsch: 31.01.2001 06484 Quedlinburg: Blick vom Schloßhof nach Westen zur Stiftskirche St. Servatius (auch Qudlinburger Dom genannt) mit den Westtürmen (GMP: 51.086860,11.136560). Dreischiffige romanische Flachdeckenbasilika (begonnen nach 1070, geweiht 1129, Chorapsis 1321 gotisch umgebaut, Türme 1862-1882. Quedlinburg wurde 922 als 'villa Quitlingaburg' urkundlich genannt, sächsischer Königshof mit alter Wehranlage auf dem Schloßberg. Königspfalz Heinrichs I. und von 966 bis 1802 als Stiftsburg genutzt. Das Renaissanceschloß entstand in der zweiten Hälfte des 16. Jahrhundert, weitere Bauten im 17. Jahrhundert.
