Deutsch: 31.01.2002 06484 Quedlinburg: Auf dem Schloßberg. Wappenkartusche am Torhaus (GMP: 51.786380,11.137020), dargestellt ist das Wappen der Äbtissin Anna III. zu Stolberg-Wernigerode. Quedlinburg wurde 922 als 'villa Quitlingaburg' urkundlich genannt, sächsischer Königshof mit alter Wehranlage auf dem Schloßberg. Königspfalz Heinrichs I. und von 966 bis 1802 als Stiftsburg genutzt. Im 11. Jahrhundert wurde die romanische Stiftskirche geweiht. Gegen Mitte des 12. Jahrhunderts Gründung der Altstadt.
