Description
English: Lt. Col. Ann Dunwoody poses in Normandy, France in 1994 for the 50th Anniversary of the invasion of Europe. Lt. Gen. Ann Dunwoody was confirmed by Congress July 23 for her fourth star, making her the first female four-star general in the U.S. Armed Forces. She will be assigned as the U.S. Army Materiel Command commanding general.
