I just had to upload this other photo of probably my best ever UK find. I absolutely love this car, and I'm so jealous of the elderly owner. This just sums up the late 70s for me. So incredibly original too, and this was such a good case of being at the right place at the right time! This is exactly the reason why I always carry my camera around my neck now, so I can snap interesting cars without delay. Still got the original dealer sticker and everything, this car isn't even a show goer, as far as I know! When I spotted it, it was one of 3 on the roads- amazingly this year it's gone up to 5! Great news. Current owner since 2004, which surprised me, as they were rare cars even then (9 on the roads). Recently retaxed to October 2015 too! |
